Come join The Mountain Riding Lab, Gull Boats & RV, Missoula Snowgoers and Missoula Avalanche Org at Big Sky Brewing and learn some valuable tips on Avalanche safety. Snowmobiling is a great way to enjoy our great state and blow off some steam, but you want to know your stuff when you're up against the force of an avalanche...which can reach speeds of 80 mph in just 5 secs.

Based in Jackson Hole, WY, The Mountain Riding Lab provides avalanche education and skills training specifically for motorized winter backcountry users through certified classroom and field training courses. Their passionate instructors have 15 years combined experience in backcountry snowmobiling and professional guiding, are American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) instructors, American Avalanche Association (A3) Pro members, and trained in wilderness medicine and CPR/first aid. Their goal is to save lives through avalanche education and promote a culture of awareness and responsibility in the backcountry. All of their avalanche courses and instructors meet AIARE and American Avalanche Association (A3) curriculum guidelines.
